Where it started
SA was started back in early 2006 as an incentive to help raise $3000 US to upgrade the server Darknest was on. The incentive was set to 1 page/$100 raised. On October 11, 2008 page 30 was completed. Before this I had decided, with how the script was going, to extend the number of pages to how ever long the story would be as to not just leave the comic partly finished.

Special Thanks
The script for SA was originally written by NSQ from Darknest up until page 8, where responsibility for the script was handed over to my husband when school and life became priority for NSQ. I will also note that all the dialog placement was done by NSQ for pages 1 to 8 as well.

Why So Long?
The reason pages were taking me so long until recently were mainly due to the fact that back in 2006 through to 2008 I was sorting my life out and was returning to college. With schooling and my job at Drawntobondage.ca I could only work on SA when free time permitted as the comic was free to read. For a short time I had donations running to help speed up updates to compensate for work not being done while working on the comic. This only lasted 3 updates and soon found myself having to switch back. Comic pages were updated roughly every 3 to 4 weeks.
